Come out for a scenic float on the Spoon River Loop!! It's a gorgeous stretch of river with cool rock formations and historical bridges. There will be a cookout afterwards at Audrey's family's place.

About the event
We will be putting in at the address listed above. Park along side the road. The river loops around and you can walk back to your car after the float. You'll need to bring your own tube or kayak. River float tubes can be bought at Wal-Mart or Menards, typically, and are around $20. They're a little thicker than a pool float, which would be too risky to take down the river. You'll also need a personal floatation device (life jacket). We will have some for people to wear, but make sure you let us know if you need one. People lose phones and car keys all the time in the river, so please bring a float bag or a dry sack for those. Or leave them in your car! You need to stay hydrated, so bring plenty of beverages.
